A holiday tradition

The park puts on
its holiday lights.

Christmas in the Park brings decorated shelters and a seasonal train outing to a familiar neighborhood gathering place.

The city’s published 2026 schedule lists its 40th annual lighting ceremony on December 1, 2026. The library’s sponsored train evening is also listed for December 1, 2026. Those announcements do not confirm dates for later years.
